Reply to rrobert184's video of "How Did You Get Into Gundam?" I'm not going to talk long in a video since I'm kinda busy these days. So I have my words written here. And might have some wrong spelling too if you don't mind.
Now I started when I'm around 10 or 11 years old. I don;t know about Gundam until one of my primary friend introduced it to me. He gave me a magazine and I read it. I saw the Gundam page and it's quite interesting. My first impression to it is like a fancy robot but later I think it's more like a human like. Especially the head had the V fin. The mouth which has two lines represent it's lips. And everything else just like robot. And slowly it got my attention to it. Know not much to it, just a nice human looking robot made by Japan. But slowly I learned they have different names. What cool is I saw a bunch of SD models in my friend's room. That make me want to get a model for myself.
Later on, I first Gundam Anime was SEED. Which kinda make me more into it. Until I saw Strike Gundam and until now I still like it. Lot's of it's inner frame can be seen which make it more mechanism. One day, I went to Toy's Ur and that time Gundam SEED was quite HOT in there. I got my very first model kit NG 1/144 Strike Gundam. I thought it has nice articulation but I was wrong. But still I like it. And since I'm still a beginner, I not a good painter and simply use various markers and coloured it up. Look clownish! As a pure collector, you never sell your model or keep it nicely. I still keeping it and make it as Battle Damage looking. later I was more into SEED after witness the Freedom Gundam. Now that's how I got my username for. XD After sometimes, I got a birthday presents form my Uncle and Aunt. A HG 1/144 Freedom Gundam and HGUC 1/144 Super Gundam. I wasn't a fan of HGUC when I'm still small. Of course I start buld with HG Freedom first. But it was broken since I kept toying with it. After some years, I start to buy a Gundam with my very own hard earned money. A NG 1/100 scale Sword Strike Gundam. Reasons I got it just because it has the nice long sword and the grapple thingy on it's left hand. But now it's just a pile of junks. Also broken.

My first mode kit NG 1/144 Strike Gundam and "junkpla" of my NG 1/100 Swrod Srtike Gundam.
Not long I started to lost interest on it for some reasons. I stop collecting them for almost 2 years until I see the Youtube videos. Prime92's, zversus's, 920306915003's, Akatsuki030's, PokemonGN001's (GN00Raiser), tolentolen's, 2Old4Toys's, vegeta8259's videos. And others stop motion videos that make my gundam Spirit back to life! And that's how I join in Youtube. I just signed up for fun until I felt kinda waste if I left it there without videos. And I start recording videos, make stop motions and showing my Gunplas. My first met youtuber with Ken a.k.a. 920306915003. We met and I bought back my HG 1/144 Freedom Gundam and Throne Eins. From that day on, every gunpla I collected is my earned money or pocket money. Slowly I know the ZeroG forum which introduced by Akatsuki030 which a great forum to me. Making me fire up and start WIP. But I felt that I should have buy more markers and gunpla tools instead of Gunplas only. So now I bought more tools instead of model kits. It explain why I got less Gunpla these lately. It's not only to make your Gunpla models to look nice, but showing how much effort you out on it. I don't like paint but I colour it with Gundam Markers. Once that's a guy said paint is better then markers and markers is suck. Well, I'm kinda disagree with that. I proved it by using only markers in my HG 1/144 Gundam Rasiel D Custom. 100% Gundam Markers to it.

I also collect Dengeki Hobby.

Painting and coloring make your Gunpla and could show how much effort you put in it.

I never throw the boxes. I will keep it and always keep my Gunplas in it when cleaning my room.

The markers, spray can and other stuffs I used for my Gunplas.
I'm stopping my collection again next year 2010. I want to focus more on my next year biggest exam in my life, SPM. It's more like one of my important exam in Malaysia. To pass that exam, I want to stop collecting for one year or for few months. So I can save up some budget either. LoL! That's about it. I have more to write but this is the main point. Thanks for viewing it. Have a nice day.
